AMERICA’S TOP BUYER “ROADSHOW” To Film In Pocatello, Idaho
The Duke Family and their team are excited to come to Idaho! They plan to film 3 episodes of the new series AMERICA’S TOP BUYER “ROADSHOW” throughout the region, starting with the pilot episode in the Boise area and are going to be filming in Pocatello August 27th – August 31st.
AMERICA’S TOP BUYER is a docu-reality series that explores the fascinating world of antiques. The new show follows James Duke and his family of modern day Treasure Hunters, some of the most skilled in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques, coins, gems and other items of rarity. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.
Part adventure, part history lesson and part treasure hunt. As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, joined by Executive Producer, Host and Idaho Native Brent Johns, the Duke Family is on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The family hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while finding some of the most unique places to visit and learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way…and also hiding some of their own treasure chests, geocache style, so be sure to check out their social media pages for clues.
During the filming, they will have the “Roadshow” portion of the show set up in Pocatello at the Hampton Inn & Suites Convention Center from 9am – 6pm Tues August 27th – Sat August 31st. The event is free to attend, but seating and tickets are limited, so go through your attic, grab items that you think might be of history, rarity or value, such as Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium in all forms, rare coins and currency, diamonds and gems, vintage musical instruments and vinyl records, paintings and art, pocket watches and fine time pieces, antique firearms, fishing gear and militaria, stamps and vintage advertising memorabilia, collectible toys and so much more. So bring them on down for a free appraisal, especially if they have a great story behind them. With a minimum budget of $15 Million USD, buyers are on site if you’re interested in going home with some cold hard cash…and while you don’t have to be on camera, but if you want to be, you just never know, you might just make the cut for the episode if you have something really unique with a great story behind it.
***We are also hiding a Treasure Chest full of goodies somewhere in the Pocatello area, so be sure to check out our social media every day to get a clue to where it might be found.***
The Duke Family has seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them. AMERICA’S TOP BUYER is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that they can spend the better part of the day looking through, send us your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to:
